Mahmira is a senior majoring in Finance and minoring in English. She is originally from Turkmenistan and moved to the US 3 years ago from North Cyprus where she grew up. She first started attending Finance & Economics Society during her sophomore year and was a VP of External Relationship in 2017-2018 academic year. She spent her summer rotating through Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and Corporate Banking divisions at Scotiabank and will be joining their Global Markets division upon her graduation. In her free time, she enjoys endurance running and yoga.
Dilpreet is a junior majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Statistics and Quantitative Modeling. He first joined FES in the spring semester of his freshmen year in the mentorship program. Then, in the 2017-2018 academic year, he started and led the Data Analyst program to combine his interests in both finance and technology. He has interned for Jennison Associates and Fitch Ratings, and will be interning at Citigroup in their Sales and Trading program. His hobbies include playing poker, chess, and reading non-fiction books.
Owen is a junior majoring in Computer Information System with a minor in Economics. He moved to New York from Macau last year. In his free time, he enjoys exploring cities in the United States. Owen interned in J.P. Morgan last summer and will be returning to J.P. Morgan for his junior summer. Owen has been a member of FES for one year and attended Investment Banking Analyst Program. A fun fact, Owen practices meditation daily.
April is a junior majoring in Finance and double minoring in History and Political Science. This previous summer she interned at Elliott Management, a top ten hedge fund nationally for investment research division. During her free time, April enjoys novel writing, reading history and literature books as well as visiting museums.
