Meet the Team


Vlad Albrecht, President

Vlad is a senior at Baruch College majoring in Finance and minoring in Political Science. His past experiences include multiple investment banking and corporate banking internships, with the most notable being the Corporate & Investment Banking internship at Commerzbank, and the Investment Banking internship at TD Securities, where Vlad was on the credit management team. He joined FES in his freshman year, where he completed the Financial Analyst and Investment Banking programs, subsequently becoming the instructor of the Investment Banking program and the Vice President. Currently, Vlad serves as the President of the club. In his free time, Vlad enjoys reading and working out.

Auston Lee, Vice President

Auston is a senior at Baruch College majoring in finance and minoring in communication. He has been a part of FES since his freshman year participating in all three programs. Last year he was the Treasurer and the FA Program Instructor. His past experiences include working in commercial real estate, venture capital, equity trading, and FP&A. During this past summer, Auston interned at JPMorgan in the Global Private Bank working with equity/fixed income investment solutions and will be returning full-time after graduation. FES has given Auston limitless opportunities to learn the skills necessary for his future endeavors in finance. He is excited to be a mentor and give other members the platform to thrive in their career paths. In his free time, Auston enjoys volleyball, traveling, and eating all types of foods.

Norbert Kopec, Treasurer

Norbert is a junior at Baruch College majoring in finance and minoring in communications. He first joined FES as a mentee his freshman year and continued his membership as a part of the Investment Banking Program. He currently serves as the treasurer of FES after previously serving as the Mentorship Program Instructor. Norbert is currently interning part-time at Commerzbank following his internship with the company over the summer. Some of Norbert’s interests outside of school include running Spartan races, skiing, and traveling. Norbert attributes his success to the supportive network and education which FES has provided him with and he looks forward to putting his experience to work by being of help to other individuals in the early steps of their career.

Christopher Gregory, Secretary

Christopher Gregory is a junior studying finance in the Zicklin School of Business from Long Island, NY. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Finance & Economics Society (FES). This past summer, Christopher interned at Commerzbank AG in the Corporate & Investment Banking Division on the Industrials & Automotive team and is currently interning at TradeMas on the Equities Strategy team. In his free time, Christopher likes to work out and play video games. He says that FES developed his interest in finance and inspired him to pursue a career in investment banking.

Georgios Pefanis, Mentorship Program Instructor

Georgios Pefanis is a sophomore majoring in finance at Baruch. He is currently an instructor of the Mentorship Program. Previously, Georgios took part in the Mentorship and Financial Analyst Programs. He has gained internship experience in commercial real estate, private equity, accounting and investment banking at various firms. Georgios is a huge soccer fan and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He emphasizes the pivotal role FES has played in assisting him in his efforts to break into the industry, and remains especially invested in the value of the Mentorship Program.

Erica Sheludenko, Mentorship Program Instructor

Erica Sheludenko is a senior, student athlete on the Tennis team, majoring in Finance and minoring in Law & Policy and Quantitative Methods & Modeling. She is from Long Island, NY and is currently one of the instructors for the Mentorship Program after serving as the Secretary of the Finance & Economics Society (FES). Last summer, Erica interned at BNP Paribas in their Sales & Trading division where she'll be returning full-time. She also has experience on the buy-side from working at Old Orchard Capital Management, a municipal bond hedge fund, during her junior year. Erica never would have achieved her first few career goals without the guidance of FES and she is grateful for the relationships she has cultivated within the club.

Michael Grodzki, Financial Analyst Program Instructor

Michael Grodzki is a Senior majorining in Finance and Investments with a minor in both Psychology and Advanced Business Analytics. He is currently running the Financial Analyst Program after previously running the Mentorship Program. Michael interned this past Summer at J.P. Morgan in the International Private Bank Division and will be returning full-time after graduating. Michael is an avid traveler as he studied abroad, loves to be active in terms of working out and exploring the outdoors, and enjoys watching sports such as Formula 1 and soccer. FES has helped him develop both technical and behavioral skills while also meeting some of his closest friends.

Anthony Gaggi, Investment Banking Program Instructor

Anthony is a sophomore at Baruch majoring in Finance and minoring in Business Analytics. He started in the Finance and Economics Society as a mentee in the first semester of his freshman year, advancing into the Investment Banking Program in the following semester. He now sits as one of the two Investment Banking Program leaders. He accredits FES to his knowledge and experience in the Financial Services industry, and believes that its capabilities as a network of driven individuals provides an invaluable resource for those who have a hunger for learning. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and listening to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Mahira Lewis, Investment Banking Program Instructor

Mahira Lewis is a sophomore Finance major at the Zicklin School of Business, co-instructing the Investment Banking program at the Finance & Economics Society (FES). She has been an active member of FES, participating in the mentorship, financial analyst, and investment banking programs. Mahira is currently recruiting for Investment Banking positions and is passionate about helping others achieve their career goals. In her free time, she enjoys watching Formula One and reading books. Mahira credits FES for continually helping her learn the conceptual facets of the Financial Services industry.

Raymond Connors, Co-Chair of Events

Raymond is a junior at Baruch majoring in finance. Raymond joined FES in his first semester as an analyst in the financial analyst program. He then completed the investment banking program the following semester. During this past summer, Raymond interned at Argo Partners as a distressed debt trader. Currently, Raymond is serving on the executive board of FES as one of the Chair of Events. Outside of school, Raymond enjoys spending time with family/friends, watching sports, and playing video games.

Yogesh Ramdial, Co-Chair of Events

Yogesh is a sophomore at Baruch majoring in Finance from Queens, NY. He currently serves as Chair of Events in the Finance and Economics Society. During this past summer, Yogesh interned at NuVerse Advisors as an investment management intern. Yogesh has been a member of FES since his freshman year and has completed FES’ Financial Analyst and Investment Banking programs. In his free time he actively trains MMA and loves all things combat sports.

Mayra Olazo, Co-Chair of Research

Mayra is a sophomore at the Zicklin School of Business majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science. She has completed all three programs at FES: Mentorship, Financial Analyst, and Investment Banking. Mayra has previously served on the board as Chair of Events and is currently Chair of Research. In her free time, Mayra enjoys listening to all types of music and watching Formula One. She looks forward to another great semester in FES!

Michelle Tang, Co-Chair of Research

Michelle is a junior at Baruch College majoring in Finance and double minoring Computer Science and Quantitative Methods and Modeling. She joined FES during her sophomore yet first year at Baruch, participating in the Financial Analyst Program. Out of that program, Michelle developed a growing interest for equity research, and she currently conducts weekly research with her fellow co-chair on the financial markets, individual companies, and the overall economy to construct weekly market updates for FES attendees. She is also currently an intern on the floor of NYSE and a member of the Investment Banking Program cohort. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her pets (all 5 of them) and watching movies.

Jagmeet Minhas, Chair of Technology

Jagmeet Minhas, currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Data Analytics, has been a part of FES since his freshman year. His journey began in the FA program, and he swiftly progressed to the IB program in the subsequent semester. Currently serving as the Chair of Technology on the board, Jagmeet attributes his growth in technical skills and network development to his time at FES. Grateful for the opportunities provided, he spent the summer interning at Google as a research assistant, fueling his aspirations to enter the FinTech sector.

Joie Teh, Financial Analyst Program T.A.

Joie is a junior at Baruch majoring in Computer Information Systems. Despite having a focus on Computer Information Systems and Data Analytics, Joie has always been interested in finance from a young age and hopes that her experiences in the Finance & Economics Society (FES) will compliment her future career path. Joie joined FES in her sophomore year, where she completed the Financial Analyst program (FA). She mentioned that the FA program helped her develop essential skills and valuable connections in the finance industry. During her free time, Joie loves cafe hopping and exploring the city. She is excited to contribute to the FES and meet new members!
